About KALABANDHU Foundation
KALABANDHU Foundation (Registered) is a non-profit organization committed to the holistic development and welfare of underprivileged and vulnerable communities. Guided by the vision of "Making the World Healthier and Happier," the Foundation works across education, healthcare, skill development, youth and women empowerment, senior citizen welfare, environmental conservation, modern agriculture, art and culture, social awareness, and humanitarian services to build a healthier, inclusive, and self-reliant society.
Our Social & Cultural Journey
The Foundation serves children, women, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, farmers, and economically disadvantaged communities through educational support, healthcare initiatives, nutrition awareness, rural development, skill development, and community welfare programmes.
Committed to preserving India's rich cultural heritage, KALABANDHU Foundation also promotes folk arts, literature, theatre, and cultural traditions by organizing festivals, cultural programmes, literary activities, and honouring talented artists, thereby inspiring future generations to value and preserve our heritage.
Media & Community Service
The Foundation's Founder, Shri H. Narasimharaaju, also serves as the Editor of Kalabandhu, a regional Kannada daily, promoting public awareness and social responsibility through journalism. As a theatre artist and director, he has actively contributed to Kannada literature, theatre, and culture while participating in several public awareness campaigns and community welfare initiatives.

The Foundation's contributions to social service, media, arts, and culture have been widely recognized. Notable honours include:
Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Award (2018) by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
Kannada Seva Ratna Award by the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Bengaluru Urban District Unit.

ಕಲಾಬಂಧು ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ – ನಮ್ಮ ಬಗ್ಗೆ
ಕಲಾಬಂಧು ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ (ನೋಂದಾಯಿತ) ಒಂದು ಲಾಭರಹಿತ, ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಮಾಜದ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ, ದುರ್ಬಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಕಲಾಬಂಧು ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ನೆರವು, ಯುವಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಅರಿವು, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ, ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ, ವಿಕಲಚೇತನರ ಬೆಂಬಲ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕತೆ, ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಂತಹ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಕಲೆ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ಕಲಾವಿದರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸುವುದು, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ಜಾನಪದ ಕಲೆಗಳು, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಯುವ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಉತ್ಸವಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇಶೀಯ ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಾಸೇವೆ
ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ, ಜನಪರ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕಲಾಬಂಧು – ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾಗಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ, ಕಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪೌರಾಣಿಕ ನಾಟಕಗಳ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲೆ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಮಾಜದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜನರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಳಕಳಿಯ ಜನಪರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನಪರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸೇವೆ, ಕಲಾಸೇವೆ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಬಹುಮುಖ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೌರವಗಳು ಲಭಿಸಿವೆ. ಬೃಹತ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ (BBMP) ವತಿಯಿಂದ 2018ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ “ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ” ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಘಟಕ ವತಿಯಿಂದ “ಕನ್ನಡ ಸೇವಾ ರತ್ನ” ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯೂ ಲಭಿಸಿದೆ.
ಶ್ರೀ ಹೆಚ್. ನರಸಿಂಹರಾಜು ಅವರು, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಗಂಗಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಎಸ್. ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಕಲಾಬಂಧು ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ, ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
